Anyone know if it will be possible for me to do the wild Africa trek.
I have severe hearing loss in my left ear. Nearly normal hearing in the right so as long as I can pick which ear I put the headphone i should be able to hear what the leader to saying but will then mean that I will have very little backround hearing even with my hearing aid in.
I can't sign.
Will they deem that safe?
I could just phone them up but don't go till October so dates not release, I strugle with accents over the phone and I live in uk.
I don't want to get excited about doing it only to be disapointed.

They should be able to accommodate you by having the leader wear a mic or a FM system of some sort. You can email them too to try sort something out. I did the bulk of my accommodation planning via email.

There are assistive listening devices in the parks for your use too, don't know too much how the audio bit works, but I think they do use the same device for captioning.

The contact name is still accurate. She's the one that I've been emailing to make arrangements for my current trip.
