I have read that it can make us tired afterward. We will be getting up pretty early to get to the 8:45 reservation. We need to be there at 8:30 according to the CM.
I have planned for a 2 hour rest at the resort afterward before we go to HS.
Does it really make you that tired? Is 2 hours enough rest time?

I just did Wild Africa Trek last week at 11:45, so I assume it was much hotter. I can't imagine where you read that it makes you so tired. I did not think it was any more tiring than walking around the parks. There is not that much walking and just three bridges you go over all at a very slow pace. Unless you are really out of shape, two hours would be more than enough rest. Honestly, besides the heat I'm not sure you would even need a rest. It concludes with a nice lunch/snack and a safari ride. It was lots of fun!

Yeah I didn’t feel tired either. The tour is also divided into 2 sections: first it’s on foot with the start of the Gorilla Falls Trail, then above the hippo pools and crocodile pools. That’s about 1.5 hrs, where you are standing the majority of time, but it’s not any more grueling than walking around the park and standing in line. Then you board a safari vehicle, where you are sitting down for the majority of time. The vehicle is smaller and occasionally pulls off to the side where you have the option to stand to get a better view of animals. After passing the elephants there is a break at the overlook where you get a light meal-there are tables and chairs. Then it’s back on the safari vehicle again.

I don’t know if you really need a rest time, especially that early in the day. But I guess it depends on if you’d want a rest after 3 normal hrs at the park.

Ok that's good to hear that it is no worse then walking around park for 3 hours. Thanks you two.
