Our Wii stopped working about 8 months ago so I started looking for the extended warranty that I'd put on it. As time passed, I kind of forgot about the whole thing and let it sit there. Then, I read about someone here on the Dis who had the same problem with their Wii. I followed the advice given to them and now our Wii works fine!

But, in the extended time that it was not used, we managed to either lose or destroy both the Wii Sports disc AND my Wii Fit disc:scared1:. The Wii Fit disc is gone and the Wii Sports disc has been deeply scratched and painted with nail polish:confused:.

Is there anywhere that I can buy replacement game discs? I really liked the games on the Wii Fit disc. My DD's loved the ski jump game. I need something simple since my daughters are 4 and 6 and my DH is grossly uncoordinated:laughing:.

I can't help with the wii sports, but as far as the Fit goes...just go buy the Wii Fit Plus disk (about $20). It has all the original Wii Fit activities, but it has a whole lot more. Seriously, once you get this one...you won't need the old one. It even imports your old data from the original game (you won't need the disk for the import either). I love the Fit +!! It's so much better than the original!!

Go to Game Stop and purchase them used. They guarantee the games to work. DH and I have purchased a bunch of wii and xbox games there and have never had a problem.

I agreee - Gamestop rocks. We don't even buy new anymore! (unless it's something we really don't want to wait for)

Thanks for the info!

I found the Wii Fit Plus and that looks like something I'd definitely want. I know the kids love the hula hoop and ski jump and DD6 was just starting to get the hang of the soccer game when it broke.

I am still not sure what to do about the sports:confused3. Is there a game that has the tennis, bowling, boxing, golf, and baseball? I don't want to buy single games that are JUST bowling or JUST golf since that would get really expensive.

I believe that I did see wii sports at our Game Stop last week. So it might be worth it to see if they have it rather than searching for another disk that has all of those games.

You can buy Wii Sports @ Game Stop. I believe it's $13.99 or $12.99 used. I replaced ours and was surprised it was under $15. I think I am going to pick up the Wii Resorts used too. Game Stop has also been running buy 2 used games get the 3rd free deal quite a few times since October in my area. Play N Trade just opened here and they are worried about the competition. I checked out Play N Trade and the prices were higher than Game Stop.
