Wii Fit Plus Balance Board - any success stories?

I just got a balance board and Wii Fit Plus to go along with our Wii. I figured it might be something to do to supplement my regular workouts or on days I'm snowed in and can't get to the gym... but, I'm not loving it. I hate that you waste so much time between exercises listening to the trainer and answering questions.

Does anyone know if there is a way to just set it to do a 30 minute workout straight through?

The Wii Fit Plus has an area where you can do just this. Look around the next time you start up, off hand I forget what the area is called.
 
I love the wii fit plus - I will be honest I stopped using it like I want to - but I am re motiviating my self to start up again! My Daughter just got just Dance and WOW is it fun!!!! We just laugh so hard and its a great work out! :) plus its a great activity to do together! I am going to get back on my wii fit! Going to try and start getting up 30 mins earlier to do my 30 mins of wii fit every morning - the word being TRY!!!!
 
I like the wii fit more then ea active, probably because I prefer something less exercise like. I enjoy stepping the most. I'll usually step while watching the biggest loser. I also have a little platform for it, DH built it. I have the biggest loser too. Can't say I use any of the like I should. My biggest issue with the EA was always having to put the nunchuck and controller in and out and what not. Annoying!
 
It is quite flat and fits against the wall nicely in the corner and doesn't take up too much room.

Seriously though, I just wish I could get motivated to get back into exercising again. Every day, since the new year I say tomorrow I am going to start doing that again. I like the stepping part the best, and I am good at the hula hoop.
 
I got the WII Fit Plus for Christmas This is my 18th straight day to weigh in and "play on it". I have lost 5 pounds and my BMI is down a whole level. I am also carefully tracking calories using the LoseIt App on I Phone. I am really amazed at how easy and fun it has been. I have a set time-4 pm and can't wait for that time to come so I usually start at 3:30. My favorites are run plus, bicycle the island step and step advanced. I do the easy yoga, bowling and others for about 60 minutes taking a break or doing two sessions.

Look for My Routine to create your own ( yoga and strength) or use a Wii Routine. I think it should be on the bottom of the list of categories. :thumbsup2

I'd like that too. I have had Wii fit plus for over a year and can't figure out how to do a more aerobic 30 minutes. I can do strenth and balance or something. I'd love to set it up to do a warm up, 30 min of a cardio mix and then a cool down/stretch. It is fun, but taking the break to go back to the menu and choose another exercise keeps me from using it much.
 
I like the Wii Fit, but I rarely use it. It seems my kids always run the batteries down on the controllers and the board, so whenever I want to use it, it isn't working. LOL

I did use it when we first got it 2 years ago, and I lost a little weight (less than 5 lbs). I do want to start using it again, even if just for yoga poses and toning. We just bought an elliptical, so I am getting a lot of cardio from that.

I have the Gold's Gym Dance Workout and also Just Dance and Just Dance 2 and really like them. Pretty decent cardio workout! Never got around to getting the Wii Fit and balance board.

I have been Some of the dance workout for the wii including Just dance 2. I do the sweat mode or shuffle mode for 30-40 minutes. I also have the biggest loser one that needs the board for some stuff but I am having so much fun with Just dance that I haven;t looked at it.
 
Jensen, yes you can make your own routine and it cuts out all the talking and time in between. It wont show you your results you just go thru the exercises you choose for your routine.

Go into training then choose the bottom button I think it is call Wii fit Plus it will open up to favorites, my routine and routines they make up.

Choose My Routine and follow the promps to make your own routine.

I made a 20 minute yoga routine that I enjoy very much. No evaluation after every exercise.

Just at the end they talk for a little but I just click the A button quickly to go thru that.
