Anyway BMI is really a great indicator of body weight as it doesn't take into consideration of body fat percentage. Muscle weighs more then fat, so you could be muscular but have a high BMI.
It does sound like a fun game, I will have to wait & see if my cousin or sister can afford it as they are the ones with the Wii's
I'm hoping to buy one tomorrow - if all the stores haven't sold out already! I'm glad that my DH is working away from home at the moment - the less folk that see me make a fool of myself the better!
We sold out by 1pm this afternoon, and we had 8 in stock too! Anyway, I got mine this morning, but it's still in it's box downstairs cos I've been at work all day and evening. Will be tomorrow too, so will have to wait to give it a try until Sunday!
It was great fun (apart from telling me I'm old and fat - nothing the mirror doesn't tell me everyday anyway! )
I tried the aerobics, yoga and balance sections. It is really good at the end of each exercise it doesn't just well done and give you a score, it tells you were you can improve, ie you need to work on your balance in your right leg etc.
The more exercises you do the more you unlock and it looks like there are loads more to unlock.
I got one today and it is brilliant. My age was only 7 years more than it should be and my BMI is ideal. I was brilliant at the hula hoop and the step. Jogging was hilarious, spent most of going backwards in the room. I was hopeless at the yoga, fell off the board twice. I was good at the breathing exercise which I thought was good and a relief.

There is a really good article on MSN about the Wii Fit. I've just been reading it, it's like a 7-day diary including Wii Fit ages and more importantly this guy's heart rates for different activities. Who would have thought that playing a computer game could be so energetic?! Anyway, the link (hope this is okay to post!) is here:
I got one this evening, and it appears to be very good, although cannot get near it for DW and DD, Dw was good at the Hula Hoop, very little else whild DD was getting good scores on the yoga ,will get on it tomorrow ,i hope.
Well, I've just had a play with my little Wii Fit and I love it. Not so good at the yoga/muscles sections, but loving the balance games and stuff. Step Board is my favourite game. And with a BMI of 21.56 and a Wii Fit age of 28, I don't have too much to worry about. However, if the age calculation is anything like Wii Play/Wii Sports, it's guaranteed that I'll have an Fit age of 75 by the time the weekend is over! Happy Wii-ing everyone!
