Just doing my last minute checking before I get there at the end of the month...

Is there WiFi in all the villas at AKL-Kidani? If not () is there wired internet available?

Many thanks.....

Wired internet in your room via ethernet cable that is provide (you find it in the bedroom closet). If you are a DVC member staying on points, you get free internet.

WiFi is available in the common areas of the resort, lobby, pool, etc. for a fee of $9.95 for 24 hours.

Unless they added it at Kidani when it opened, it is my understanding that AKL does not have wireless internet access anywhere including the common areas, nor does it have a business center. It only has wired access in the rooms.

A few weeks ago someone posted that they used free WiFi at Kidani and that there was a rumor that WiFi was free for DVC Members. I contacted DVC Management and they confirmed that the WiFi was temporally free at Kidani because their vendor was waiting on some equipment and that WiFi is not free at any Disney resort at WDW.

You never know if someone brought along their own wireless router and you picked up on that.

It does seem like everyplace offers wi fi nowdays -I thought they would just plan on it that way when they built Kidani and BLT-but NO-

Not every place. When I travel for business and stay in higher end hotels, I often have to pay for internet - wired or not. The cheaper hotels that are fighting for you business do it to entice you to stay there.
