Wifi and pool hopping

If we are pool hopping, can we access wifi at the pool? Or is it password restricted to guests only at that hotel?

My understanding is that the current intent is to put wifi in guest rooms. Depending upon the resort, you may be able to pick up a signal from a nearby room. Other than that, I would assume it to be very hit-or-miss.

Interesting question because I don't recall anyone mentioning whether the WiFi even extends TO the pools or not.

Based on what I've read, I don't think it's even secure (open with no PW required). I've never seen one at a hotel complex that was PW protected. If you think about it, what would be the point and how would you manage it anyway?

I seem to recall someone saying they were posting while sitting at SAB right after the wifi was rolled out. I guess we will have to wait until more TR roll in.

We were at OKW the week WiFi was rolled out and I had no luck getting a signal at the pool.

They do exist, and they're a pain in the neck. There's often a password that changes on a daily or weekly basis, and they either post it in the room, or worse, you have to call the front desk to get it.

I was recently at SSR and the WIFI did'nt reach the pools or even outside your room.

We had wifi at both the Kidani pool and SAB on our trip in June.
