Doggone it! I left for work before word was out on the AP discounts. After arriving home this evening and making this discovery, I immediately got on the passholder site to see if I could get a good rate for either our October or December trip. Both were pretty disappointing. Then, I got on AAA and booked Pop through Xmas at $65/night. Given the rates I had seen on the Disney site, I was quite excited and more than prepared to shift to a value! However, I'm not really trusting of the AAA site, since it did NOT give us a total price for our trip -- just reserves the rooms. So, dh logged onto the Disney site (NOT the AP section), and pulls up $82/night for every night at Pop. He then tries the AP section and gets the same (much higher overall) rates that change with the dates that I had gotten earlier. Fortunately, he was able to return to the regular guest area and still get the $82. We paid for the first night. However, we did notice that WDW now has a disclaimer on the site saying that they reserve the right to adjust rates if there is a problem within the booking system. I wonder if they'll adjust it if we go ahead and pay for the entire stay???
