WICKED on my iPhone 3G!!!!

Thought I'd share with all you great people who love the Wicked play. I've been addicted to it ever since I first heard "Defying Gravity" (in a movie theater of all places ) I discovered that there was a "copy" of it on You Tube if you search the correct way.. it's horrible... hard to see faces, shot from a distance.. you can tell someone snuck in a video camera... but for someone who hadn't had a chance to see it on the stage in person, who had just been addicted to the music for 2 years I was in heaven.. some of the songs I hadn't understood became clear.... now I've seen it on broadway... and have re-found it on You Tube (couldn't find it for a while recently) and have figured out how to pull videos from You Tube and save them onto my computer... so this morning my most exciting accomplishment has been.... I now have wicked (all 2 1/2 hours) on my iPhone DH is happy b/c I can stop bugging him to go back to NY for a little while and I can carry Wicked with me when I go on long trips for work... Just thought I'd share that it's out there for those of you who want to see it but aren't close to a touring city or NY or Chicago... if anyone wants the copy I've downloaded (it's in format for iPods) just send me a PM and I'll be happy to share... like I said, it's not the best, but you can get an idea of what is going on

While you're hunting around on Youtube, look for the wicked clip that's a blooper where Galina tries to pin the flower in Elphaba's hair in the scene with Popular, and can't get it pinned on. She finally settles for pinning it on her "simple frock".

Hilarity ensues!

After seeing posts and hearing Kevin and crew talking about Wicked I bought tickets for my family to see a touring company in Buffalo in June. Prior to going to the show I came across this excellent synopsis on wikipedia. Some may consider this a 'spoiler' so read at your own risk! At wikipedia search on Wicked the musical. (Post count too low for links!)

As for the show, it was unbelievably amazing and we already have tickets to see it in Pittsburgh Oct. 4.
