I have a question. We have wireless in our house and it has worked great. My son has a x-box 360, a Wii and we have a laptop. Anyway, long story short when his live account expired he set up a new profile on the XBOX. At that point we started to have problems with the connection. We can only use either the laptop or the XBOX at the same time. IT will grab the connection from the other device and then you have to go in and manually grab the connection if he other one is in use. It seems like there is only 1 connection that is available. I look at the router itself and where all the little pictures of the routers are there is only 1 lit up at any given time.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks:thumbsup2

I’d do a “RESET” to its manufactured defaults, check you manual for the proper procedure. Don’t forget to reset your administrator password as well as the security settings, since all will return to its original state.

sounds like there is a mess up in the ip addresses.

you need to go in the router and make sure none have the same address.

example.. * your ip addy wont be the same as below.. *
IP: 192.168.2.20
360 IP: 192.168.2.1 -- changed the 20 to 1 or any number.
