Wi-Fi/HSI Near WDW

Does anyone know if there are any free WI-FI / HSI hot spots near property? $10/day is alot for the provider Disney is using. And I wasnt happy with their service when I was last there. I could use dial up but need some speed for some uploads/downloads I will need to do while I am away.

Can't help you on the freebies. For what it's worth, I have seen at least one post from someone who successfully configured his wi-fi access point to function with the high speed service at WDW. Perhaps you could find someone willing to split the cost with you if you have the hardware. Of course that assumes you are both in the same resort and within reach of the access point.

$10 per day is pretty much the starting point for high-speed access in hotels these days (unless you luck into one that offers free access.) With the Orlando area being such a big vacation destination, there's a lot of money to be made in services like high-speed and wi-fi. Don't know how hard it might be to come-by a free hot spot.

Hopefully someone else can point you in the right direction.
