why

My journalism teacher in high school was also an english teacher, but she was TERRIBLE with proper english grammar, since when you write for journalism, you don't write with the same grammatical rules that english uses. She was ok at journalism, but an awful english teacher. ;)

haha i've noticed that between a few of my classes. i'm leaning more towards becoming an english teacher and using journalism as my minor...just in case teaching falls through. but i love teaching people new stuff and i've been told i'd be a good teacher so we'll see ;)

I really want to become something in forensics. Right now I'm leaning towards a forensic psychologist or a forensic psychiatrist. I find the criminal mind very interesting.

I would love to work with the criminally insane, specifically. My dad was and brother is bipolar and leaning towards schzophrenia(spelling?), and it boggles my mind what has run through their mind. I would loveeee to find out more and work with people who may be like that.

That might sound pretty bad, but I dont know. It's just a very interesting topic to me..

same! i am absolutely intrigued by the criminal mind. like serial killers, mental disorders, etc. i think it is so extremely interesting.

i really want to look into different jobs that have to do with it.

have you ever watched "criminal minds" on CBS?

I want to either be a doctor or a Disney animator.
Doctor: everybody on my dad's side of the family has done something in the medical field, and I want to help others!
Disney animator: I love to draw, it's kinda my passion! I am also a
huge Disney buff(and proud of it!). Everything Disney makes me soo happy!! It would be a dream come true to work for the Disney company.

Not exactly sure yet, but some sort of nurse OR (operating room) or ER, because it would be ideal if I got married. but if not, then I could be giving people a second change at life. I mean, what if someone REALLY messed up in life, and was dieing?? if I could fix that, they may totally turn around. I want to help people and show them God's love!

I want to do something in the hospitality field, especially working with guests on a day to day basis in a setting such as a theme park, cruise line, or hotel.

Theme Park: I love theme parks, always have since I was 3 years old and I got my first AP to Busch Gardens. I couldn't imagine not having the ability to go to theme parks. I am currently working at Islands of Adventure, and absolutely love every minute of it. It is such a fun atmosphere at any level, and such an amazing job. I love making people happy, and giving them a vacation to remember.

Cruise Line: I want this as a more temporary job. After graduation I do plan on moving in to cruise lines for a few years to be able to interact with a broader amount of guests, and travel the world a little. I love traveling, and I understand you will be going to the same places months at a time, but to be able to visit those places would still be amazing. I would love to work as a part of the entertainment/cruise staff at that time, but would be happy doing children's activities/front desk as well.)

Hotels: I am leaning away from hotels. I still have it as an option, just because work would always be available, somewhere. It is a better option economically & for a family life than theme parks/cruise line only because hotels can be found in any city in the world, and therefor I could find work anywhere my family/husband/etc. takes me. I would love to live in Orlando, California, some cities over seas and work at theme parks, but it is just not practical sometimes as far as a family goes. If that happens I would move over to hotel GM or something of the sorts.

I want to be a psychologist. I used to be interested in specializing in family/child therapy, but I recently changed my minor to criminal justice. Now I'm getting really interested in forensic psychology. Maybe I've been watching too much CSI, but the field is incredibly fascinating.

Family/child therapy - Because I've always wanted to work with foster kids and povershed families, and this combines that with my love of psychology.

Forensic psychology - I've been talking to a psychologist who works with criminals and on cases with the authorities, and I love hearing all about it.

I won't need grad school for a few more years, so I have plenty of time to decide.
