LMAO! What a riot. How did I miss all that action. That story had more holes than swiss cheese. I'm sure we will see some more tall tales soon. This poster can't seem to help themself.

In some ways I have some sympathy for her because my hubby was also laid off after 17 years with the same company, 4 days before he turned 40....do the math...he got the job right after college and it was the only full time job he ever had. I didn't want to but I went back to work to generate an income BEFORE severance ran out. She told us once she's an accountant and not a financial moron. It was TAX season for pete's sake...only a moron wouldn't be able to see the income potential there! I know many bookkeepers that work from home and make a healthy income in their spare time!

However, my sympathy runs short when she buys new cars, keeps gym memberships and spends money she doesn't have on a bike for a 10yo while making her family potty in the dark to save on the light bill! She also threw out half the pantry because her kids baked a cake.

My favorite was the thread about wearing goggles while frying bacon. Silly girl, put the bacon on a jelly roll pan and put it in the oven at 350...perfect bacon every time with no splatters!

Anyhow...I wish I could figure out how to subscribe to all her threads, really makes for fun reading!

I got hooked on this board because of her drama!

I missed it the first time too... but when I started reading, and got to the part about dumping the bike and getting a 400 new one, I knew who it was! reminded me of the time she threw out all the cake mixes

Yikes, someone has a lot of issues. I think it's a riot that so many people know who she is a talk about her on other boards. she sure has made quite an impression. There is only so much of that nonsense I can take in one day. Reading too much of that rambling can be quit draining.

Okay...so I had a bit of nothing time today....I did a yahoo search on "vhoffman disboards". It came back with 850 pages of hits! I read through some....mercy....makes you wonder if someone's making all this up just to see who would get hooked!

I still don't understand how she has twins with different ages and birthdays.

I also had some time today, and since I wasnt familiar with vhoffman I went back and read some of the posts. If me again and vhoffman arent the same person then.... Speechless.

I was wondering the same thing about her twins being different ages. I alson noted that in one thread they were adopted from poland and in another they were from Russia.

normally don't comment on her threads ( but find it really funny to read the comments), but curious i too yahooed vhoffman posts and read a few that seemed interesting. was looking for some humor from people responding but instead was saddened. I was amazed by the one where she walked out on her daughter's birthday party and had a night at home alone eating pizza and renting a movie. wow if these two names are the same person, it is truely very sad. i hope it is not.

At first I thought this woman was full of it. But, honestly I don't think anyone could possibly make all of this up, which makes it very pathetic. Plus as was already mentioned she sounds similar to another poster. If that is the case, she is taking the time to log in and out with different user names. That being said I do know people who do nothing but complain so I suppose it's not so unusual. If you alienate enough people you are bound to reach out to the net for simpathetic ears. All I know if this woman was my neighbor I would move.

I finally found all her posts! Holy cow! I only know the few I had read in the last few days have made me really wonder some things. And yes, I have a degree in counseling as well as teaching!

OMG, I just did the Yahoo search for v hoffman and couldn't believe the drama. It has to be the same person. I don't think that I have ever read anything else filled with such non-sense. One of my favorites is where she said that her dd's teachers "teacher appreciation day" was her payday. That just cracked me up. I also want to know about the CPS issue. Anyone know what that was about? I only got through the first 16 pages before I had to stop for a while. Can't wait to read about the cake mixes. Some people just have issues.

I feel sorry for her children, since I can only imagine what her behavior is like in real life ( if true) Based on the information she's posted so far, I'm sure it's not a good situation.

I know it's often a cliche on the boards about people needing counseling, but I think it could help her and her family. Hopefully, she's just a troll, but I have a sneaking suspicion that some of the stuff she posts is true, while the rest is greatly exaggerated.
