We're lucky here in IL. Smoking is banned in all public places including casinos. The only exception is for "Retail tobacco store" (more than 80% of their business is tobacco related).

About this time last year, they were talking about lifting the ban on casinos because revenue is down and neighboring states allow smoking but so far, it hasn't gone anywhere.
WI has a smoking ban but since the casinos there are operated by Native American tribes, they do not have to abide by the law. We have a lake house in that area so we go to Ho Chunk in the Dells. I have to leave my purse at home otherwise it takes days of me leaving it in the screen house to get rid of the smell.
