yesterday i was helping a friend with a quest and when he came to the haunted mansion task he asked me to play for him bc he couldnt catch 20 ghosts and he just gave me his password and user without making sure he should trust me. i told him he was risking alot and he said he knew. when i was on his account i kept getting dc in the middle of the game. so i also learned something. that its the accounts not the computers that determine how often you get dc. but thats my guess. im concerned that he might give someone his account information next time he needs help and someone might take all his stuff although theres nothing much on him to steal. plz post what you think about this

I don't think it's the account that determines how much you get dc. You were probably just logged on at a high traffic time, or a time when the connection between your system and theirs wasn't so great.

Anyway, you should definitely tell your friend not to give out his information anymore. He's probably a kid that's too trusting and would be devasted if his VMK stuff were stolen.

yeah i have seen that vmk works with a newer system but as peacefully said the mots probable thing is that you were logging in at a high traffic time

What could of happened...im not saying it did....but while you were on his account, he could of been trying to get on his name again, and thats why you dc alot...just a thought...

Why would you go on his file anyways.. its against VMK values and if they cant do the quest they need to change it.

I have had to help friends with mini games before. And when you are on an account. And somebody else tries to log on that account. The new user signing in usually knocks the current user off. So this is probably the case. He might have been trying to sign on, not knowing you were on his character.

Oh Come ON! You Should Have Taken His Stuff! :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: hehe JK  although.. you should have taken one of his items :rotfl2: :lmao: JK

Well, one of my very good friends went away and gave me her username and password to get her stuff and I did and didn't touch anything. She changed her password but people don't want to miss out on things, even got her a quest machine before they were gone
