Has anyone else had this problem?

Today I finally logged onto MDE to see about organizing our upcoming trip. Really I just figured I'd customize the MBs so the kids could have colors. Not a big deal. I didn't want to get crazy and link our APs to plan FP+ or anything.

So I log on. None of our upcoming reservations show on the screen. So I follow the path that says, "If you don't see your reservation, you may need to manually link it to your account." Okay, so I go dig up the reservation number, plug it in, and whammo. I get, "This reservation is already linked to (my) account."

So. The reservation is linked to my account. Great. But it won't show on MDE. WTH? I waited this long to deal with MDE hoping they'd get these glitches worked out. HA!!!!

Any thoughts?

I'd call Member Services, there is a phone selection option for help wih MDE/Magic Bands and so forth.

Thanks, Chuck, for the suggestion. I guess I knew I'd have to make that dreaded phone call. Was just hoping maybe someone else had some magical idea that would save me the pain of it.

As it was, it took three phone calls to MS. It appears that particular kink got worked out, now there are many others to deal with. Sigh. And so it goes.

I had that happen last week and called Member Services. She suggested I clear cookies, so I did that, but I still didn't see my complete reservation information (she could see it on her end though). I logged in last night, and everything was visible. I am using a Mac, but I was going to try accessing it on a PC because sometimes that makes a difference.

Good luck!

I've had that happen but could see the reservation on my phone. Eventually it showed up on the PC. :sad2:

Or you could possibly have multiple accounts under the same email address.:crazy2:

I was on the phone with MS and they were on the phone with IT for 3 hours trying to get it straightened out:sad:

It should be impossible, but it is - or at least was, possible to make numerous accounts under 1 email with different passwords. IT accidently created account "B" in March when I asked for help combining my various Disney accounts to being listed under 1 email account instead of 3. Then in July I unwittingly created account "C" for MDE.

I ran into the "this reservation is already linked to your account" and contacted MS and was on the phone a heck of a lot longer than anyone expected. :faint:

Good luck! I hope it is a faster fix than it was for me~

At least I know I'm not the only one...4 hours with tech support yesterday trying to link my reservation/fast passes with family members going with us. What we finally figured out is that my cousin had an old Disney account that one of her children set up 5 years ago without her knowing. Since her email was connected to that account, we couldn't get anything to work. After multiple phone calls and lots of help, it was determined it will be better for this trip if I just keep everyone on my account and we don't try linking. Tech support said they could get her account fixed in a couple of days. I will say that we talked to several people and the call to DVC member services is the one that really got things worked out for us. It took her over 1/2 hour, but she really helped us. By the time we reached her, we were ready to throw in the towel!

This was definitely the original issue. I repeat, the ORIGINAL issue. Combining my two accounts was the easy part, relatively speaking. I can now see my resort reservations - although on my iphone and ipad they are both listed under the same phantom reservation number. And there isn't a single system (other than MS) that will show any of my dining reservations. I'm not going to bother banging my head against the wall to get those to show - I'm going to show up with a hard copy of the reservation number and hope for the best.

And I'm DEFINITELY not going to link our APs to our MBs. At least not until we're all safely in a park. I don't want to be one of the people who get to stand around at the gate for 30 minutes working out the glitches. I'd rather go without for a day or two - or heck, even the whole trip! - with FP- instead of FP+ as long as it keeps me sane. Fingers crossed that they don't pitch the FP- kiosks until after this trip!

Come on, Disney Technology. Even Obama's technology seems to be improving more rapidly than yours. We love you! Step up your game!
