For starters they use an antiquated measuring system.

2. They take the best ideas and inventions and try to claim them as thier own.

3. They complain about Canada and our weather to much yet most couldn't find Canada on a map of Canada.

Are you joking?? I think I missed something.

And, not being able to find it on a map-- that's kind of mean. Are you saying we're stupid? I spent a month in Canada in high school-- I thought it was so beautiful there. So clean.

They also don't know how to use the English language for example

1. Donut-American spelling= wrong spelling
Doughnut correct spelling and proper english

2. Color- American spelling again incorrect
Colour again proper english spelling.

Come on guys lets not play this game. Hopefully the person who started the first post on the community board was just joking around, that is how I have decided to take it.

I love going to the States and I have enjoyed meeting so many new American friends through Disney, hockey and cruising. We are all interesting and unique.

Isn't there enough hate and enemies in the world.

Wow...what inspired this thread? Is this a joke? I hope Americans do not take this thread seriously.

I, as a Canadian, have no issues with Americans. We vacation in the U.S. every year, and everyone we have met have been so nice and hospitable. We have American friends. Being in the high tech business, I have worked with Americans for the past 16 years, and they are smart, highly technically skilled, and innovative. My idol is Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright. :goodvibes

Pray tell, where is this anger all coming from????

I'm a first first born American. My mom was born in Canada. Not sure if I should side with the Canadians or the Americans.

I go to Canada all the time to visit family. I really don't see a difference between the two countries and think it's down right silly we aren't just one big country. :teeth:

Weird Al Yankovic Canadian Idiot Lyrics :rotfl2:

Don't want to be a Canadian idiot

Dont want to be some beer swillin' hockey nut
and do I look like some frost bitten hosehead
I never learned my alphabet from A
to Zed

They all live on donuts and moose meat
and they leave the house without packin' heat
never even bring their guns to the mall
and you know what else is too funny
their stupid monopoly money
can't take 'em seriously at all

Well maple syrup and snow's what they export
they treat curling just like it's a real sport
they think their silly accent is so cute
can't understand a thing they're talking aboot

sure they got their national health care
cheaper meds low crime rates and clean air
then again well they got celine dion
eat their weight in kraft macaroni
and dream of driving a zamboni
all over saskatchewan

Don't want to be a Canadian idiot
Won't figure out the temperature in Celcius
see the map they're hovering right over us
tell you the truth it makes me kinda nervous

always hear the same kind of story
break your nose and they'll just say sorry
tell me what kind of freaks are that polite
It's gotta mean they're all up to something
so quick before they see it coming
time for a pre-emptive strike

It is not anger just a bit of jesting...seems pretty harmless so far!

I think most of us--Americans & Canadians--are bright enough lights to enjoy some good-natured fun! :teeth:
Carry on! :thumbsup2

gun-toting inveterate mall-hopper,
