Why Trader Joe's rocks (not that we needed any more reasons to love them!)

I went to TJ's during lunch today. I was looking for sunchokes. If you all don't know what sunchokes are, they are some kind of veggie, also called Jerusalem artichokes, that taste just like artichoke hearts when you cook them. DH LOVES them! I bought them to try last month, peeled, sliced, and grilled with a bit of olive oil and kosher salt. OMG they are so good! DH loves artichokes, so I knew that these would be a hit. Anyway, went to TJ's today to get some more and...they don't have them anymore! Guess they weren't that popular. Anyway, I asked the 2 crew members who were stocking the veggie section about them, and they said they didn't have them anymore, but would check and see if they could get them. One guy came back and told me they were unavailable, but to check vons or something. The other guy came back and said that he could get them, but they wouldn't be in until Thursday! OMG! I'm so excited that I can get them again, and that it's a special request, AND it will be in this week. Unbelievable. TJ totally rocks! Ask and you shall receive, or at least they will try!

Just had to share! Oh, and if any of you like artichoke hearts, give those sunchokes a try...
