We are within 45 days of our trip!!!
I'm SO excited, we are surprising my DD for her bday...

However everyday closer we get, the days seem to go by soooo slowly...
What does every do to make the time go by?
All paid! all plans, pre trip shopping, and anything that is able to be packed this early is done..

Get on the DIS and argue about FP+. ;)

Seriously, doing a little research on the DIS before a trip is not just useful, but is a great way to kill some time.

I hang out here a lot! But after the 100th FP+ thread I feel like I'm reading the same thing over and over..
However I've been doing research on our resort.. Since its our 1st time at POR.. :yay:

POR looks like a very nice resort. I prefer the compactness of POFQ, but I would probably gladly go with POR if POFQ is booked for when we want to go. Same amenities and actually more to do than POFQ (we just like to cut as much non-park walking out as we can).

Today is going by VERY slow.... :-(

I have lots of things to do, but can't stop day dreaming about Disney..

I know the feeling. When I hit the 20 day mark.. They went by so slooooow. And now it's here. Epcot in a little bit. But all I could think about is DISNEY! Which didn't help :(

I was actually thinking of starting a thread about the wait last night. I can't figure out which is worse -- having a trip that is months away (and thinking about it all the time), or not having a trip at all. At least in the second scenario, you aren't obsessing over it.

I would obviously take the trip, but I totally relate to the slow days as it appears on the horizon!

We are at 23 days. Hard to believe its that close yet it feels so far! I know before I know it we will be checking out and vacation will be over so I'm trying not to wish time away but still I want to go already!

16 more days for me and they just don't seem to go by fast enough. I stalk the DIS, read some trip reports, and it makes it seem longer.

Then I change plans because I see something interesting. It better come soon or all my ADRs will be changed.:)

I feel the same way! While I get to go the parks usually once a week (I morning have meetings up in Orlando once a week) to do the blog's weekly updates, I make a point of not riding any of the rides or eating or shopping. Although it doesn't seem to make sense, I really want to be there just for business (taking photos and collecting wait times) so that I am not "spoiled" by it and it's still special when I go with the family. It sounds weird but it's just a quirk of mine.

One way I try to get through it is Magical Mouse Radio. I just listen to it as I work and the days seem to go by much faster.

I understand exactly why you would hold off... :-)
However I would have had a hard time not ridding any of the new rides until my next trip, with it only being STEPS away..

I understand completely. In fact the closer it got the longer the days seemed if that makes any sense. 45 days might as well have been 250 for how close it felt.

If it makes you feel any better we just decided we're going to go back and surprise the kids the week before Christmas. Yep.. Christmas. I have more than 8 months to go this time:rolleyes2
