They've obviously purchased add space on the DIS.

I see that how can that be removed that is seriously offensive!

I hope they are spending lots of money on it and its going to other boards of this type so its wasted some how. That thought makes me feel a little better or I would have to go smack some one.

I keep getting Billy Bobs Beds and Luggage Guy. Billy Bobs Beds is a San Antonio company, somehow Google Ads must know what general region of the country you're located in. Or maybe there is a spyware tracking cookie on your computer.

Is it possible DISboards contracts with a company who places ads, and they are generally unaware of the content? If not I would have serious reservations about my presence here....

I'm not getting region specific ads at the moment. I'm getting a Ford car ad. I ran a full Ad-Aware scan and it found 18 tracking cookies on my computer.

EDIT: Now I'm getting Volkswagen.

The Prop 8 people bought up almost every single piece of available cyberspace advertising today. I have such terrible feelings and things to say about them that I will just stop there, before I get points

Everyone please keep in mind that a Ban on Gay Marriage is also on the ballot in Florida and Arizona. Additionally, Arkansas has an initiative to ban gay adoption.... Please keep these issues in your prayers!!


Oh, and I posted something on the Community Board regarding the Prop 8 ads.... WebmasterKathy has a sticky about being respectful during the political season......we'll see if anyone responds......
