I've noticed the same thing. I just assumed it was the space-time anomaly associated with NJ being home to the vortex epicenter...the post shows up immediatly, but it actually takes much much much longer before it's registered on the boards. To you and I though, it's instantaneous...see, being from NJ, your time dilation effect is about 30 minutes...I'm a bit farther away in PA, so the effect is only about 15-20 minutes...

That is EXACTLY the explaination that I get from our Webmasters!
Well, that or something about the fact that our host servers have a clock issue and no matter what they do the time is always off. It is just a DIS thing and you learn to adjust. Hang out a while and you will just automatically adjust the time in your head to reality--if you happen to believe in reality. . . And you will learn to say things like we do-- is that REAL time or DIS time?
Thanks for the explanation Lovetoscrap. No offense NedsTJ, but I had no idea what you meant -- I'm not very technology-minded so your explanation was lost on me. Glad to know it's just the way it is, and not me going crazy!
