Why so busy?

My husband I are wanting to take a trip to WDW in November. Our children are grown so it is just the two of us. I have been online trying to book but every day seems to be booked? Is there something special going on that I am not aware of?

Not sure the dates you are trying but there is a 1/2 marathon that had things seriously booked till the 8th. I know this because we are going on the 8th and everything was booked. A friend tried the 9th for me and there was availability.
