Why should we book Ohana?

What is the draw for O'hana? It is readily available for breakfast while we are there from 12/25-12/31. It's just DH and me, but we love character breakfasts. Perhaps I'm missing something, but what is the big draw? I'm not trying to start any trouble, we have one more breakfast to book, should we give it a shot?

Thanks!

I enjoyed my breakfast there. The kids liked seeing Lilo and \stich. The food was good..so why not give it go...

I didn't care much for 'Ohana at breakfast. The food wasn't very good. If you go, it needs to be for the characters and atmosphere, which were great.

I'm just not willing to return to a restaurant that the food isn't very good at. Beats the whole purpose of a restaurant for me.

The big draw is the characters. People like to see characters without waiting in line!

The hard-to-get Ohana ADR is dinner, not breakfast. Dinner does not have characters.

I think the breakfast is, well, just another breakfast. For some people the characters are the draw; this is the only meal at WDW with Lilo & Stitch. For some people the family-style service is the draw; buffets are logistically a pain for parties with more small children than adults.

If you don't fit into either of these groups, I don't think I'd chose Ohana. The MK area is over-run with breakfast choices: CP, CM, and 1900 are buffets with characters, Kona and GF Cafe are TS menus, and The Wave has both a menu and a buffet option.

We enjoyed both the food and the characters. Have booked again for next year.

Thank you all so much for your feedback. I think we will pass on Ohana. We have an ADR at Tusker House on 12/26 before the park opens, and 1900 Park Fare (our favorite) on 12/31, so I think we're good.

Ohana is one of my favorite restaurants for dinner.

I will never go back for breakfast there. Worst buffet at Disney.

We really enjoyed our early breakfast at Ohana but we were stayinga the Poly so it was very convenient for us to get there at 7:30am. A big plus was the fact that we could order the pressed pot coffee from Kona at Ohana.

The food was great too and the characters were alot of fun....if we stay at the Poly again I would book it but we do not have to do character meals so I would much rather The Wave, Kona, GF Cafe etc.

Ohana breakfast had good food and good character interaction, but not anything majorly special, IMHO. The best part about that character breakfast is that it's served family style so you don't miss a meal or characters with your family while you're getting up for the buffett.

Ohana dinner is the hard one to get. We love the food and go there every trip. But it is crazy busy.:upsidedow

Good choice for TH breakfast! It's one of the best buffets I have ever had.

There are lots of people that go to breakfast at 'Ohana because they are big Lilo and Stitch fans. Others like the Tonga toast.

If neither excites you, breakfast elsewhere makes sense. The Tusker breakfast is a favorite character breakfast for us as is 1900 Park Fare.

I like the 'Ohana breakfast because it's not a buffet - I don't really enjoy buffets. It's nice to have th food brought to you and not worry about missing a character visit. The trade off is there isn't as much variety.

Stitch. the food is ok. No tonga toast at 'ohana. but stitch. He is enough of a reason for us.

My family really dislikes 'Ohana for dinner, but we loved the breakfast. :confused3:confused3 Like any place, opinions will generally be all over the place!
