We have been to WDW at different times of the year, but no time is as good as mid- September. Here's why:
1) lowest crowds of the year
2) still nice and hot so the pool is refreshing
3) free dining (gotta make your ADR's though!)
4) little to no waits for most rides for the first couple hours, as long as you get to rope drop
5) Halloween decorations and parties
6) somewhat lower airfare (except this year)
Yes, it's hurricane season, but the odds are in your favor to not get hit by one.
