Hi, I have seen it here so many times that renting points is the cost effective way to go at Disney but I need some clarification...
I booked the BC for $289.60 (AAA discount) w/ tax per night in August, so room total would be $2896 for 10 nights.
I looked at the points for the same days & I get this...(5 of us so no studio)
BCV (1 bedroom) 28 pts per night (Sun -Thurs) & 56 (Fri & Sat) so that would be 8 nights (28pts @$10 = $280 x 8 nights = $2240) plus 2 nights (56pts @ $10 = $560 x 2 nights = 1120) for a grand total of $3360????
Ok where the advantage? I am doing something wrong? Show me the money!
No, seriously,is my math wrong? I can't figure out how renting points would be cheaper?
