why onsite so much more

I was trying to rent from wdw CCC, but it is $140 more than getting the car at MCO. Why so much more? $140 for the convenience?

Indeed. Folks may find themselves without the option to rent from CCC vs MCO, and so the price reflects that.

The rental rates at some of the FL airport locations, including MCO, are lower then rental rates typically found in other locations. That said rental locations constantly adjust rates to try to match reservations against inventory. You could price the CCC a day or two later and might get a better rate.

When one agency has a higher rate at MCO many of us will look at other agencies. National is high we check Dollar. A higher rate at the CCC stands out.
