Why do my kids seem to be asking...just asking!...to hurt themselves before we go on vacation.
You would think me saying they can't swim if they had a cast on would work...but nooooooooo.
Climbing trees...riding their scooters all crazy like.
Then there is the Let's-spin-around-in-the-yard-and-make-ourselves-dizzy-to-where-we-almost-fall-down-and-split-open-our-heads-on-the-playset.
Let's walk on the balance beam! (our deck railing)
And I swear I'm all panicky during soccer practice and games.
I'm going to lock them in their rooms and home school this last month.

My advice- Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Ahhhhh, now keep doing this until your trip. I am just sure that everyone will be healthy and cast free so your family can enjoy this vacation together!

I thought I would also make them rubbed down in sanitizer every 1 hour on the hour too. I really love my boys and would not trade them for the world but you are right, with my luck in a wheelchair with a cast on is in the cards. Good luck!
During Spring Break last week, she discovered an old pogo stick at my aunt's house from when I was a kid. Of course she decided that she needed to master it! Luckily no injuries. Then over the weekend, she fell down the stairs while reading a magazine and walking at the same time.
We keep telling her to be extra careful because we leave for WDW on 5/22 but it's in one ear and out the other.
