Do I always get a cold right before Im due to go on holidays, aching all over, freezing cold and feeling dog rough right now :sad2:

Im sure its phsycological you know, either that or because Im almost done doing everything,(very early for me believe me) my body has nothing else to focus on so thought it would throw in a cold to keep me on my toes.

Have a last trip to Birmingham to do on Wednesday for work and right now it doesnt appeal at all.

Thanks for letting me have a moan, im off to bed with a beechams and an episode of lost, lets see if Sawyer cant make me feel a little better

Plenty of time to kick this little blighter of a cold into touch by Saturday I hope, fingers crossed :goodvibes

Good news & Bad news....

Good news, I had a stonker of a cold a few days before I left but it went before I set off for Manchester.

Bad news, the second I set foot back in Manchester it returned and I still have it. Been to dr's today and apparantley it's a throat infection and will clear in it's own good time.

Hope you feel better :grouphug:

Well if he doesn't make you feel better, then nothing will :rotfl2:

I hope you're feeling a lot better tomorrow bab :thumbsup2

Mandy :)

Hope you're feeling better soon :sunny:

Always used to happen to me too as I was due to go on holiday - you work til you drop and then, soon as you stop, your body says 'okay, lets collapse.......' :rotfl:

:flower3:

This happens because your body works overtime getting everything ready which lowers your immune system and then as soon as you relax bam you get ill! Take some echinacea, you can buy it from Holland and Barretts or Tesco etc, it is a supplement that boosts your immune system and will get you over the cold asap. It really does work, I came down with this cold on Friday and by Sunday it was pretty much gone!

Hope you feel better soon and have a fab holiday!

Aww thanks guys :grouphug: Sawyer did very little to help Im afraid ;) I feel 50 times worse this morning and my head is banging and my throat killing me, Ive dosed myself up and if I can just get through my trip to Birmingham tomorrow, then I can just concentrate on getting better.

Ive put it down to the stress of work over the last few weeks and worring about my mum who had to have her yearly mammogramme last week, ever since she had breast cancer 3 years ago, we always dread this time of year, waiting for the results.

Thanks for the tip on echinacea Jen, I will pick some up today :thumbsup2 Roll on Thursday when I can offically say Ive finished work and im on holidays :cheer2:

Hope you're feeling better today sweetie :grouphug:
