Is there no character breakfast with Buzz, Woody, The Incredibles, Mike, Sully or any of the Pixar movie characters??? These are the favorites of most children and I think it would be awesome to have a breakfast with them. They have a princess meal for the girls so there should be a "hero" kinda meal for boys, but I know girls who love these movies just as much and they would be just as happy going to this as they would any one of the others. I think there should be more options. JMHO.:confused3

My family would love that meal. They should have it at MGM (Disney Hollywood Studios :goodvibes ). I've heard people clamoring for a "boy" meal that would fit the ticket!

Hey, that's a great idea! Hope they pick up on it! I could put it right here on my siggy line next to my picture with the princesses from the CRT breakfast that I dragged my boys to. LOL! Actually, I didn't have to drag them -- my then 7 year old was sooooo in love with Cinderella.

And here we would've thought your son thought girls (even princesses) were "icky".... :lmao: :lmao: But then my 8 yr old nephew doesn't (that I know of...)

Even being a female, I soooooo would love a Buzz and Woody character meal!!!

I think Sully would be kinda hard to do in a crowded restaurant....

I think so too! I am so glad there are others that agree with me! I know Sully would probably be too hard, but I was just naming some of the favorites. Although, I have to say, I do love Sully;) How can we get this to happen? ANd can it be done by the time I go in 9 weeks??? :lmao: Maybe I will start a new thread with the subject being "hero character meal" or something and we who want it can flood it with responses and maybe the powers that be will pick up on it.

I don't know why there is not, but there appears to be a reason. Disney is certainly aware of the popularity of these characters. There was a rumored Toy Story meal at Hollywood and Vine (where jojo and the einsteins are now) and DISers flooded the dining phone lines with questions. Disney even put out a casting call. But they went with jo jo instead. I wonder if it has to do with the other characters being Pixar. I know a lot of people are frustrated that Disney "isn't listening" to the want for these characters or for a "boy" meal. I don't think its as easy as all that. I think there are considerations we know nothing about

Add me to the Pixar list. I would also like a Tarzan and Jungle Book character meal in Animal Kingdom and DH would love to dine with some Villans!

Never thought of those either! They would both be cool.:cool1:

I know! Toy Story, Incredibles and Monsters Inc are our favs. That would be an awsome character meal. Jo Jo and Einsteins are cute, but once you reach 6 or so it's too babyish.

I'm hoping that there will be something like this coming soon, now that the Disney-Pixar relationship has been hammered out. I assume that in the past, the reason there wasn't such a meal was the same reason they didn't do custom cakes with Pixar characters for a long time - rights issues. But that's resolved now, so hopefully they'll get on setting up a heros meal (and a pirates one too, if it isn't too much to ask! LOL) to counterbalance the princess dining overload!

I would love to see a more "boy" themed meal. I was really hoping that the Toy Story idea would have gone through. A pirate meal wouldn't be bad.

Love these ideas! The meals are rather saturated with the princess-types, aren't they? I read on another thread a great idea for a POTC meal, and Peter Pan breakfast. Wouldn't that be cool? My DD is more into adventure than princesses, and any of these ideas would be right up her alley, and DS's too!

We had breakfast with them on the 10th and it was cute but LOUD LOUD LOUD LOUD LOUD! I mean earsplitting loud. I want to leave despite my meal being paid for loud. My son was miserable 90% of that meal. We were way in the corner near an exit, farthest away from the action, and it was nearly unbearable. We ate quickly and left vowing not to return! I have no idea why it has to be so EAR-SHATTERING, but it was.:confused3 Think rock concert and you are sitting near the speakers.:sad2:

I think a Toy Story/Incredible's meal would be really nice, especially if you have boys and they don't want to attend the Princess meals. :)

Here is my 2 cents....for what it is worth!

I really think the princess thing is overrated. My DD is 8 and she is growing out of that. She will hardly wear anything with princesses anymore (she will only wear those things to WDW). She is a huge Tink and fairies fan. She is a girly girl and has loved all of that up until recently. Disney does need to bring in some different type character meals. They basically have nothing that appeals to the 8 - 14 yo. My kids love Chef Mickeys and CP but not every kid likes that.

I personally would love a villain meal. I think it would be so much fun and definately different. The boys really do get short changed. My son is "teenager" now and could probably care less but the Incredible's, Woody, or Pirates (I would love that one myself) But I think those would be a much needed and wonderful change. It is time for a new idea or two.

It seems almost hard to believe that Disney doesn't realize they are missing the boat here. Think of the $$ they would make. Can't believe they are missing out on money...can you? It seems that is what they are all about these days.

What the heck are they doing that makes it so loud? I'll stick to my quite furry Pooh and Friends. My youngest hates loud noises, which is why we have yet to do fantasmic and she holds her ears during Illuminations.

We did the JoJo meal on a whim with our Dniece. She loved it - so we had a great time. It was festive. There was lots of music and dancing. We actually thought it was the "most fun" character meal we'd done
