Why not the post office??

Why not use the post office versus UPS or FedEx? I understand that the post office goes to a central sorting office, right? Does it never make it to your resort, or does it just take longer? Love the flat rate idea, could afford to ship much needed Dr. Pepper!! Thanks for the info !!!!!!!!

I posted on another thread about this same thing. They said not to use the post office to ship your boxes over. I can't find the thread, so I hope that they start to reply to this one. I was going to use the post office, so now I need to know why not too. Please post any info you have about this, soon. I need to ship in about 2 1/2 weeks.

Probably because you can track your package on line with ups.

if you get delivery confirmation AT the post office (not online printed labels) you can track your package online as well.

I work for the post office, so I'm intereted in finding out why not to use the post office.

We do tracking on packages too.

I think someone said that the post office won't deliever to specific resorts, but just one location at Disney. I think that's what I read, but I could be wrong.
