Why Not Me??? complaints on the Disney Visa.

I too received the offer for double points after spending $2,300. My best friend only has to spend $350. Of course I put absolutely everything on mine so I spend more each month. I called VISA and they said their marketing department targets people who don't use it a lot... try to incent them to use it more. So if we stop using the card, perhaps they'll decide to give us a good incentive...! I'm dropping the card after I get my last statement before my December trip. I get better rewards with Amex.

We have this card, and I cannot complain about it at all.

Now we have never "worked" a CC before, but we used it exclusely like a debit card for several months before our August trip and had $133 Reward Dollars to spend.

I had never received any of their offers before this one, (and we have been members since "Day 1" - and all we got for that was a pin - quite nice, but no $50!) and we were fortunate to get the double points for anything over $150.

I hope to have a nice "fund" for our next Disney trip - whenever THAT may be.

While I do use my Disney Visa for some things, I just got a Citibank Dividend card that gives me back 5 percent in cash. You do need to accumulate $50 in rewards before they send you the money. You do need to call to request the cash back. You get 5 percent at grocery stores, drugstores, and I believe gas stations. I even bought my Green Mountain Coffee at a gas station and got the 5 percent on that.

The offer that I just got from my Disney Visa was that if I spend over $1,000 between October and December I will get double points. That is still only 2 percent. I will take 5 percent in cash any day.

I have stopped using the card in hopes they might court me back, but I get the same "deals" (I get a MC $$$ gift card instead of DD)from my debit card, and I don't have to worry about intrest rates etc.

I feel the card must be more consistant and offer better rewards for me to use it...I am primiarly keeping it for things like 5 for 7 or kids stay free.

I have done the same thing. I will just put the Disney card into hybernation and see what happens...

My interest rate just went up! By 1/2%! I pay my bill every month and try to pay off what I put on (some months I'm not so successful).

I have $700 to spend before I can get double the points. My husband didn't get anything on double points. Why can't they offer the same deal for everyone?

I want an e-mail for February, PLEASE!!!!

Thanks, Marciakaz for the info on our local utilities taking the DisneyCard for payments. I'm looking into it!

I saw folks commenting on the lack of offers they've received with their Disney Visas. I just received ours in the mail yesterday.
I found my offers on the Bank One website "cardmemberservices.com". Those of you who don't think you have offers may want to try it!!! You may be surprised!!!

I have not received any offers from Disney Visa either nor did I know they exhisted until I read about them here.

It may be because I use the card for literally everthing, including paying off cars when within my credit limit. I "launder" everything through the card; loans, utilities, groceries, etc. Each month, I pay off the balance.

Now, I have accumulated $500 in Rewards, since Day 1, to use this upcoming WDW trip. Now that is rewarding!

We charge at least $1000 on our charge each month - but we always pay the balance in full.

Could this be why I never get any "double" or "triple points" offers? Any ideas?
