what a fun evening!!!!!!!!!!! Despite kicking it off running away from bad karoke, the rest sounds perfect and your entree...YUM!
Sorry Cynthia - I did not see this last night.
It really was a fun evening - the pool was great (when the karoke ended), the food and beer were great, and the guideless ghost tour was....well....FREE!
Not sure how I got 6 pages behind.
Probably because I am updating at 3X my usual speed. Trying to get as much done as possible before I leave for HHI!
Love the pictures ... all of them.
You have a great eye for composition.
Thank you!
I was in Williamsburg back in 2002 I think. They cancelled the school trip to Williamsburg due to 9-11 so a bunch of us took the kids up ourselves.
I also saw lot of joggers late. I guess besides ghosts there is little traffic. They always seemes to be at least in groups of 2 so I figure they at least take safety seriously.
That's so good that you still went on the trip despite the cancellation. It is a area that's well worth seeing.
The whole jogger thing was weird.

I guess its a tradition - just something they do and I guess no one has ever been hurt doing it. I did see a couple girls running by themselves, but everyone else had at least one running buddy.
Yes that looks like an orb. I did do a ghost tour during that trip with the kids and it was pretty interesting.
I'm glad you think so.
I have heard mixed reviews about the ghost tours. some people complain that is too much history and not enough ghosts. Doh - Of course its going to be history.
Have a great trip to HHI. Waiting to see all those wonderful pics from the HHI beach.
Thanks! I will do my best with the pictures!
I am loving all your pictures! So pretty!
Thank you!!!
You leave tomorrow! You leave tomorrow!!! So exciting! If I am not on here again beforehand, have a GREAT trip!
Thank you! I actually can't believe its here already. It seemed so far off for the longest time. I am very ready to see the south (and, of course, want to move there

).
You are really, really making me want to take a trip to Williamsburg, those pictures are amazing!

I love the VB window display, so pretty!
Do it!!!!!!!
Have you ever seen VB in a school bookstore before??? I mean, really, have you? Like I said, smart marketing! It's an adorable display.
That orb picture is pretty cool...I wonder what it is? Probably a ghost!
I hope its a ghost. If it is, he or she probably got tired of seeing the flash on my camera. He was probably thinking - Enough Already!

Sort of like using a flash on a non-flash ride at WDW.
Where do I start?
Love that they had an adult pool!! Your pictures once again are beautiful...some of the buildings reminded me of Liberty Square! Your dinner looked so good and I can only imagine how delicious having access to fresh seafood is...living on the prairie doesn't afford us that luxury
The adult pool was great! Loved that!
Those historic buildings are sooooooo cool. I also took some day time pictures before we went home, so stay tuned.
Having access to fresh seafood is certainly a wonderful thing. I love it!
I am 100% with you on the ord sighting!! I was bummed you couldn't go on the ghost tour, that would be so cool! I can only imagine how spooky that house at the end of the street looked because the gate had an ominous look to it!!
That place looked sooooooo creepy. I've seen it in the daylight and it looks a little scary then, but at night - watch out. It was surrounded by a big brick wall and that gate. It was pitch black. I wanted to find an orb in that house, but I guess it followed me.
