Why no deluxe villas

when I search on the wdw site for availability of holidays for 3 weeks next August I am offered a choice of hotels but none of the villa resorts, does this mean that all of the DVC resorts are sold out for the whole of August next year or is there some other reason why they are not showing up at this time?

No idea sorry - it was showing availability when I was messing with it for Aug 2011 last week - I tried both 2 and 3 weeks.

Have you tried complete orlando, they were coming out slightly cheaper than disney.

Whenever aresort doesnt show up for me I try the usa site and hey presto it magically appears

If you want to stay at a villa resort you'll save loads of ££ by renting points! Either through a nice member, or dvcrequest.com

I just did a quick search on Disney UK and SSR and OKW are coming up with the discount and free dining. Its actually cheaper to book through Disney or Complete Orlando for these resorts and get the ticket deal and free dining rather than renting points from a DVC member and paying for the dining plan.

If you're looking for one of the other DVC resorts though, renting points may be the way to go.

Yes I was checking for the OKW/SSR offer for next year - was still coming up with availability for the 42% off + free DDP deal next August and October.

You need the uk site for this offer or complete orlando.

Edit: I was originally searching for flight inclusive packages and when I tried that again, hey presto no villas.

Just checked Complete Orlando and they are indeed cheaper by £262. Have any of you used them before, are they a safe bet?

I have booked SSR with Complete Orlando for next Aug.
Their customer service so far is excellent, and prices very competitive for both SSR and onsite Universal hotels.

I have booked with Complete Orlando - we travel in October.

I have found them to be fantastic - they are part of Attraction Tickets Direct and well respected. We have our flights with BA - also through them - they let me pay a £200 deposit to secure the flights when they first went on sale and just £150 for the hotel reservation - for me - it was the benefits of a package and DIY prices!

Remember you can get quidco cashback if you book with disney direct - think it is 3%.

That said complete Orlando were still slightly cheaper.
