Why no bags on MIB?

Just curious why they don't allow bags on this ride? The lockers last week were an absolute nightmare with long lines to open and close. I thought I saw a bag container under the ride seats. Did they used to allow them? The ride was fun but didn't seem all that wild!

yup..The employees dont want to deal with having to clear fallen /thrown objects all the time .

is there a lot of spinning on this ride? I do not do well on spinning rides and if that is the case I can be the bag holder for our group.

If the other team "zaps" your car you could be in for a lot of spinning!

They also had to stop the ride with each hat or bag that fell on the ride track. That means more waiting for guests in line.

As someone who usually just stays at Disney, the bag restrictions were a real puzzler for me at Universal. I guess they are just playing it ultra-safe!

People losing things (or idiots throwing things) on Dueling Dragons is why there is no more dueling.

Universals ride systems are alot more involved and the rides are alot more intense, hence the bag restrictions on several rides.That is why they provide lockers before those rides to stow all bags..Someone on this board posted a little while back that as they were WALKING past Rip Ridee Rocket, an iphone came flying out of the air and smashed into the pavement next to them..Loose objects become projectiles on some of these rides..
