I have been calling for a variety of nights in the middle of July and the latest PS they will give me for any Fantasmic package restaurant is 6:30pm. They say this is the last seating at the restaurants (not the last seating they have available right now, but the last seating period before the restaurants close)... Does this make sense? MGM is open until 9pm every night I am looking at. Should I keep trying or are they really closing this early?
Thanks,
Jennifer

Hi,
I posted this same question last week on trying to make PS at the MK and being told there were no times later than 5:45! Weird!

I made a ps for MM for July trip just as soon as I was able and was very surprised that the latest seating I could get was 4.40pm! I took it but it means we will miss the parade. I wonder if a rang back if I could snare a later sitting? It made me think whether they 'released' early times first just to get rid of them. Sorry if I'm not making myself clear on this.

I'm in the same boat as the rest of you. I've made PS for MGM and MK and found 5ish being the latest for many places (Plaza, Prime Time, Hollywood and Vine). I do plan to call back as we get closer to see if there are some later times open. We were in WDW in May and ate at the prime time several times and had 8:30 PM PS at least twice. So am a little confused, unless they do try to fill the early seatings first, then open up later ones once they are filled. My PS are all for late July too.

i wonder what is going on in mgm???

i called one day after the 60 day mark for a 50's ptc ps in august. i was told that they only had seatings at 4:45 and 5:15 for dinner and 2:05 was the only time they had for lunch!!!

I just called for a Fantasmic Hollywood and Vine PS for July 2nd -- the only time they had open was 7 p.m. (which suited me fine). So who knows what's up -- they had nothing at all open for the Brown Derby, which was my first choice.

Just bumping this back up. I called today to check on my PS times for my trip in 3 weeks and to see if anything later has openned up. While I was able to get a 6:00 PM seating at H&V, vs. my original 5:00 PM seating, nothing later has not openned up for the 50s Prime Time. Was told that the last seating is still 6:00ish.

I would keep trying. Wdw seems to make up some of the rules as they go along.
