Stayed here once, rates now start at $1000 a night. There is also the rocking horse ranch, meals and drinks with meals included, it was a bit run down when we stayed and definitely more than an island AI. The AI lovers I know put the free alcohol as the #1 priority.

Yes, when we look for AI vacations we’re looking to have unlimited drinks as well as activities. My brother went to college in New Paltz, not for from Mohonk- I think it’s more focused on adventure & activities. But an option for some/families looking for someplace to vacation.
