Why is the Plaza Restaurant........

Why is the Plaza Restaurant not taking reservations after 4:50 on July 8th? The MK is open until 10:00 that night with an e-Ride night after closing

I would ring WDW back and clarify this. It would be a shame to miss out on the ps you want because of an ill informed CM.

Both myself and my Dreams agent have called repeatedly and we are always told the same.

I remember reading somewhere that on E-nights, there is only a handful of counter service places open. I guess most folks are there to ride the rides and Disney saves money on personnel by only offering a few places to grab a sandwich.

If you haven't tried the Plaza Restaurant - please do at another time. It is one of our favorite.

We have ate at the Plaza many times and love it.

I just can't hardly believe that the Plaza is closing at 5:00 when the park is open till 10:00 with e-ride after

It seems odd to me too. I can see them not being open when e-ride starts but why wouldn't they be open until 10 when that is park closing time. Could it perhaps be booked by a private party? I know that doesn't seem like a place to have a private party but maybe for a (very lucky) child's birthday or something? I know it sounds far fetched but I suppose you could rent anything for a price. I'd call until I got an answer. We enjoy the Plaza. Let us know if you find anything out.

Just a guess, but it may be reserved for a private party? THere are often business conventions and they may have one doing something special that evening.

I tried to make a PS at the Plaza for 5/10 (e night) and was told the same thing. We ended up at LTT and it was very good but I am sure the Plaza was open on that e night (5/10)

I have called back at least 5 times in the last week and 1/2 and still nothing past 4:50. When I ask why no one seems to know

OH Well! I guess we will eat early and then have Casey's about 11:00.
