Why is Teppan Edo not part of DDE?

It seems like a sit down table service place but isn't listed anywhere as being included?

Teppan Edo, which is not owned or run by Disney, apparently decided they did not wish to participate in the DDE program.

Teppan Edo participates in the dining plan, it doesn't participate in DDE. The question seems to be about DDE.

And so I will be moving this thread from the dining plan board to restaurants.

Bummer! Thanks for moving me. Son LOVES Teppanaki and I was going to surprise him but since he and other son both order adult size shrimp we may be keeping the other reservation for Coral Reef instead. I'll figure it out later I guess. I just thought it's be a nice reward for putting up with our enjoyment for Epcot. (We arrive March 7th...1 day after AP discounts expire. The room rates are killing me and it's not looking promising for more discounts! Oh Well!)

Where can I find a current list of DDE restaurants? I'm sure somewhere in my paper piles, there is a list - but is it easily accessible here?

I'm surprised Disney even offers restaurants like that a choice. You want to be on our property, you play by our rules. Should be pretty simple.
