Why is T-Rex so hard to get a decent dinner time reservation?

My mistake! Just called back after reading something that made me question the double reward. According to "Ariel" (seriously, how fitting) just now on the phone, you can use both a birthday reward and a new member "reward" at the same table on the same check. V. Cool!

T-Rex takes the Disney dinning plan right? I checked out WDE but the dinning plan wasn't checked but the rest of the plans (Deluxe) where checked as accepting. If you call by phone (and the accept the dinning plan) will it show up on DME if done by phone?
