Well, you do. BCV owners pay for shared resort amenities, but only proportionally to resort guests. BCV is about 19% of the units and my guess was maybe 1/3 of total bodies.

When you're only paying 1/3 of the costs, you can't support reopening solo.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. We don't pay nearly what it costs to run that pool. Could have worded it better.

I know that no one knows for sure, but is it reasonable to think that SAB will open on August 24 when YC/BC open? Asking because BCV is fully available right now for my August 22-28 Poly trip. I'm strongly considering switching but would hate to do it if SAB will still be closed.

I think it is the first reasonable date to expect. I would not expect it anytime before 8/24 or the date BC/YC open, whichever is later.

Thanks for the insight. I wasn't counting on any days before but figured if the resorts do open on August 24 SAB would. I took the chance anyway. I've stayed at Poly plenty times and it will be nice to have a 2 bedroom instead of 2 studios. Also, we have more EP/HS planned than MK so the location will be more convenient. Still SAB will be a nice bonus, especially in August! Fingers crossed.
