I don't think that's correct. I believe it's less points to stay at SSR.

You are correct, it is cheaper. For larger units it can make a significant difference. Plus the Treehouse villas are a great deal for a large group.
I also believe the new pool at SSR will make the resort more desirable. I don't know if it will drive up the price, but it will be a great amenity and probably the 2nd best pool in DVC.
I think Saratoga is the best resort. We love it! I'd much rather stay there than Animal Kingdom Villas, or Bay Lake Tower. Now... sure, I'm a Turn-of-the -Century charm type of gal, so BLT is too chrome for me! AKV is nice, but unless you take the suckie view, its pretty pricey pointswise. We have never stayed at BCV, but hoping to get it for this summer. Its got the same turn-of-the-century charm that I like, plus its got a great pool, although its more points than SSR. Boardwalk I'd probably like if we stayed in a garden view room. I think boardwalk view might be too much action for my taste (read noisey). The maniacal clown pool though....
it scares me!! It will be nice when SSR builds that new feature pool... all the more it'll take the crowds away from my quiet pool. I also love the way you can walk to downtown Disney. Its a nice walk around the lake, and the boat ride up to OKW and PO is very enjoyable. At least BCV and BWV also enjoy a nice walk around the lake and to EPCOT and DHS. You can't walk anywhere from AKV.. not even the AK park!
