Why is Rumors and News under Trip Planning?

I have no idea. I though at first maybe the admins had deleleted this forum. Then I went looking for it because so many mods use it as the dumping ground for unofficial news.

I always check the budget board and family board. I noticed this was between them now. I thought it was new!

I thought my settings were messed up and thus couldn't see it.

I ened up going into my subscriptions finsing a thread from here and using the links at the top to get to the main forum.

Cyrano has been moving a lot of rumor threads here from "Attractions and Strategies" while saying they are trying to build up the rumors board. I suggested they move the rumor boards higher up on the page because no one seems to notice it all the way down where it was.

I'm not saying it was my suggestion that got it moved, though.

I happened to be talking to some drivers yesterday and one of them mentioned that Pete had been a passenger and he made the suggestion to Pete.

With my recent segment and blogs, along with a noticeable increase in traffic to the boards in the former location, I asked Pete if he would move it. He graciously agreed and now here we are, in a much more prominent location. I really think this board can be the hub of both news and rumors, which from a planning perspective, does make sense. I'm glad you all noticed and most seem to agree this is a better fit. Now we have to prove it was a good decision, so keep the discussion coming!
