Because I don't want to grow up.

~Wow! I've written about this before, but this was our exact experience. Peter Pan during EMH was one of the longest lines we have EVER waited in, that line was SO long and miserable, I thought we would never ride! But, I love Peter Pan, and there is something truly magical about sailing through the air in a ship.I have never been on the Peter Pan ride and when we were at MK in June it has CRAZY long lines. At midnight on EMH the wait was still over an hour. What is the attraction to this particular ride?

It's a classic. It isn't very good and not worth the wait.
But it is a classic.

As long as you hit it first thing, it's worth it...other than that...I agree![]()

That is one of my father's favorite rides. He never went to WDW until he was in college and actually never rode the ride until I was in middle school. It had always been his experience that the line was outrageously long, Peter Pan was not his favorite movie, and it was just some kiddie ride. He just didn't care to ride it. Then, one night, the wait was down to only 20 minutes due to it being Extra Magic Hours (many years ago when they first started having EMHs) and he, along with my mom, sister, and me, decided to go on it. He was hooked. He loved the feeling like he was flying. He loved how simple it was, yet that it stirred feelings of such excitement in him. Now, as we prepare to take my DD2 on her first ever WDW vacation, he has already claimed Peter Pan's Flight as the ride he wants to get to ride with her on.
For the record, DH has claimed Barnstormer, I think my sister will take her on Dumbo, and the entire family is going to ride with her on It's A Small World for her very first WDW ride.
