Why is my name in blue...or is it?

Ok please tell me I'm not losing my mind.....my username to the left - TARAPA - what color is it?

In every thread I've been on today it's black to me. But one thread on the Budget Board (something about foundation cracks) - I see it as BLUE. Is it just my eyes (really, I haven't been drinking...), is it just a computer glitch, or did someone click on my username in that thread which changed the color???? Or is it black (or blue) to everyone else, in every thread??

I guess it's different for everyone depending on your settings. I had just never seen it as 2 different colors in 2 different threads. It's always been black words on a yellow background.

I'm using the "Universal" DIS color scheme. It is mostly blue, lime green, and white. I see your name in black. But it seems like no matter what color scheme I use, the names are always black.

And I'm using Firefox. I know that some tag colors show up differently depending on what browser you are using.

It depends on what "skin" you are using for your background on the boards. I use the "Universal Orlando" skin to view everything. The issue you are having is when you (or I ) go to the Budget board, it is a different skin. For some reason, it over-rides my choice of "skins" and changes itself to the "Gaylord Palms" skin which is yellow with light blue. (Maybe Gaylord Palm supports the Budget Board and that's why the skin is set on that board --but I don't know.)

Just in case you don't know what a "skin" is: Look at the bottom of this page on the border that says "Contact Us-www.DISboards.com-Archive-Privacy Statement". On the far left on that border is a drop-down menu where you can pick your "skin" or background colors.

Just changed my skin to Swan & Dolphin (huge fan)...now I see it in blue on here too.

THANK YOU for explaining that to me! I've always noticed the Transportation Board colors were different from the rest of the threads, that explains it.

DARN...and here I was secretly excited that I was going to get some sort of tag!!!
