Why is it so hard for me to pick a hotel??!

I might be in the minority, but I wouldn't pay extra for a MM. Like, if it's included..cool. If not, I wouldn't stress about it. I believe the MM comes on your ticket..

Is the MM a separate ticket? I think that I am going to be buying our tickets from the university because they are cheaper. Guess I may need to find out from them whether they automatically come with a MM.

It is encoded on the 3 day+ PH tickets, not separate. TTMM is a voucher you get with some packages.

Feel free to cross the Crowne Plaza off your list, you have plenty of other options that (IMO) are better.

We stayed at the Crowne last year...parking stinks, small spaces that are hard to come by. They hold lots of events and getting into the hotel usually required walking by apartments, empty beer bottles, puke and smokers (no offense to smokers but my daughter has asthma). However, the room was clean and we had a nice view of Target. The shuttle was nice, but we hardly used it. We do wish we had been closer to Disney.

We have stayed in Garden Grove, out near Angel Stadium and w/in walking distance. We will ALWAYS choose to stay w/in walking distance. Parking is a pain - although my kids miss the tram - and we hate ART. I hate being at the mercy of someone else's transportation ideas. I love to be able to walk to the Parks whenever I want. :lovestruc

I have had good luck with Getawaytoday - they usually have really good ticket prices. I have found that some of their hotel deals are better than you can get online, because the taxes are already included in the price.

One thing to consider is to pick up your tickets the night before - if you get to Anaheim while the ticket booths are still open. That way you are ready to go the next morning and don't have to wait in an extra line. Your tickets are NOT activated until you go through the turnstiles.

We're from Utah too and drive to Disneyland at least once a year. We have stayed at Fairfield Inn quite a few times and really like it.
On most of our trips we purchased our tickets from GetAwayToday and found better deals on hotel rooms at expedia.com.

Yup. Tickets are gonna KILL us. LOL

For sure, if you're considering further away for price, please check out Desert Inn first. They have a website too. http://www.anaheimdesertinn.com/

Plus they have a continental (tho most do nowadays) AND a mini fridge and microwave :) We're staying in the parlor family suite C-1.

GOOD LUCK! Choosing stuff like this is fun for me but it's also sorta stressful. I'm the same way..I get TONS of info and then get a little overwhelmed LOL

We're staying in that same room type in December. I would love to hear what you have to say about it after your October trip!! We've never stayed at this hotel before, but we got the room for $99 a night and just couldn't pass it up!!

Oh wow, You beat our rate!! We got it for 129 I believe. Which is still a steal cuz otherwise we'd be getting two rooms and it'd be 50-100 MORE. But dang, I'd love 99 a night :rotfl:

I am going to pick up our tickets sometime within the next week - glad to hear that they should still include a MM!
