Looking at the post, this has nothing to do with reservations, but posted block out dates for APs.I’d you don’t see it available for park reservations, then all the slots for AP holders are taken.
If you have an AP and are in a DVC or WDW reservation, then the system assigns you to the Resort bucket.
So, to get the AP bucket, you have to call and ask the AP department to help.
It's not showing blocked for me.
I was looking at this. It shows June 1 grayed out.
Again, not the reservations, it is when you look at blackout dates in the app. Reservations don't gray out because a date is blocked for your pass level from what I have seen. In other words if your pass is blocked out, you can still make a reservation, but when you show up your pass still won't work because it is a block out date. That is weird. I have an unactivated GOLD AP linked. AP bucket shows green for me. Resort & Theme Park buckets show yellow.
I am using the links in MDE and do not have the option to choose the type of AP. Haven't actually gone all the way through, but I will try that. I think I can cancel if I will not actually use it.
ETA: It let me actually make a reservation for June 1 to the MK for two people. Not going to try the other parks. Going to cancel now.
ETA2: Now it won't let me cancel it. I tried website and App. Definitely acting weird again!
OK, I see what you are talking about. But Gold blockout dates have always been just around Easter & Christmas. When I purchased my Gold AP, it did not include any other blackout dates. It has to be another annoying glitch (aka human error). Of course, that is your point.Again, not the reservations, it is when you look at blackout dates in the app. Reservations don't gray out because a date is blocked for your pass level from what I have seen. See the attached screenshots for how to get to blackout dates. Again, this is completely separate from reservations and the system will let you make reservations, even on dates where you are blocked from entering.

Just for the record, when we purchased ours in February, June 1 was listed as a blackout date then, but we figured that even if we went at that time, we would just use it as our down day and didn't worry about it. But the point is it has been shown there for a while.OK, I see what you are talking about. But Gold blockout dates have always been just around Easter & Christmas. And it makes absolutely no sense for Disney to allow guests to make reservations they don't intend to honor. They never should have outsourced their IT! It seems they are all doing their own thing with no one in charge of steering the ship!
