Why is Beach/Yacht Club booked?

Our family had our heart set on staying at Beach or Yacht club April 26-29th. We called Disney Reservations and they were both booked for those dates. Does anyone know how to possibly weasel our way into one of these resorts ? Is there a way around the system to get reservations there or do we have to keep checking to see if someone cancels there reservations ?

You gotta check to see if there are any cancellations...that apparently is a big Spring Break week for New Jersey/New Englanders...so you can bet they booked the beach resort to get a respite from all that snow! Good luck!

Many schools in the NE are closed for the week of April 23rd-30th....All of them on Long Island and in the NYC area. This is due to the Passover holiday occuring during that week. That may have something to do with it.

Expedia has rooms at both resorts for the week--except for Tuesday & Wednesday. Maybe make the reservation for the available nites and book those two nites somewhere else. Keep calling back to try and get a cancellation for either of those nites.

Why not visit the DVC rent/trade board and see if any of them can get you a reservation with the Beach club villas?

Have you tried the Swan and Dolphin? Sometimes they have rooms when others don't. At least you'd be in the same area??
