Why I love DVC...

It lets our family take unexpected semi unplanned vacations. I casually mentioned to DH Thursday night about the possibility of taking the kids (10 and 8) to WDW for a few days in December since we have APs. DH has some extra vacation and kids are out of school for all of Dec. He was game so I made a reservation at AKL yesterday. A vacation planned and booked in 24 hours!

I love that we can take our family on vacation with us and it does not cost them a fortune....and we get some time with those who we do not live close to......Of course, with Disney being as big as it is..we also can have some alone time!!

I have to agree, I am going down with my DW & DM in September and in November with DW, DM, DGP. It will be a great time.

We have three SSR studios booked for a three family get together over Labor Day Weekend. We have never charged anyone to go with or without us. We love being able to share DVC and WDW with family members and friends.

I agree. I mostly travel to WDW with my parents and although they protest that it doesn't matter where we stay, the enjoyment they get from staying in a DVC resort (and particularly my home resort of BLT) is priceless.
