I've seen several threads asking if they should use Dreams Unlimited or do reservations themselves. I've always been a do it yourselfer and want to get the best deal possible. I planned my April trip on my own through reading these boards and hopping on AP rates when they were released. But, I spent money on phone calls to Disney, talked to several agents, some knowledgable, some less so. I was on one call so long while the gal tried to figure out how to cancel CBR to get me CSR with the AP rate for April, my ear hurt by the time I was done.
I booked a 3 day DCL cruise last week through DU and what a world of difference. I've been working with Merrie and she gets back to me, via email, that same day. No more phone calls, no being put on hold, no more spouting off my family history for the umpteenth time. I go online at my leisure and pay for the trip- no repeating credit card numbers only to be told "the computer is slow today" could you repeat that.
I sent a request this morning for Contemporary ressies for Dec 19-23 and Merrie got back to me with all the options. Wow - 5 whole minutes of my time.
I'm sold.
