I've read on this board that extension cords are a must for the cabin. Can anyone tell me why? I've been on 7 cruises, and never felt the need, but this upcoming cruise is our first one on DCL. Thanks!!!!

6 Disney cruises and I have not needed one ????

I agree with Hygiene(Hi, Neighbor!:wave2: ). Weve done 2 Disney cruises and havent needed one.
From what Ive heard here people say you need it if your hairdryer has a big, clunky plug because it wont fit in the outlet near the desk. I do have hairdryers with those plugs and they have fit in that outlet fine for me.
Maybe different rooms/categories have different plugs?

On the rooms we were in on Carnival, there was only 1 outlet in the whole cabin on the bathroom light. DW used the cord so she could use her curlers/etc. outside the bathroom on the desk. If Disney already has an outlet there we won't need it, but we'll pack it just in case.
